Ecological Implications Of The Western Marxist View Of Nature

The seriousness of ecological environment problem, faced by mankind has forced us to look closely again the relation between man and nature, reflect on our viewpoint towards nature, seeking good way to resolve ecological environment problem in theoretical layer.In this article, following the thinking principle of the merge of logic and history, a profound analysis was given to the Western Marxism nature viewpoint, including theory original and each development periods, discussed different representatives and their viewpoint towards nature in different periods.First, in this article we reflected chiefly on the contest of Marx's viewpoint of nature. Marx created the "practical manmade viewpoint towards nature ", while he was accomplishing the revolution in philosophy. This new viewpoint toward nature criticized both the idealistic viewpoint towards nature of Hegal and old materialistic viewpoint towards nature of Feuerbach. New characteristics of Marx's viewpoint towards nature were discussed in a variety of perspectives as characteristics of practical viewpoint towards nature, esthetic ecological viewpoint towards nature, and interpreted new understanding of this new viewpoint towards nature.Secondly, Based on relationship between man and nature in Western Marxism theory, the article explained Lukacs' theory about the relationship between man and nature, he pointed out nature is a view of a historical category,this idea becomes the core of western Marxism natural temple. We also gave enough explanation to Simite's viewpoint of nature, in early days of this theory, Schmitt had researched systematically on Marxist nature viewpoint, then put forward his own opinion.Thirdly, the article has studied the crisis theory of the school of Frankfort emphatically. The world with seriously out-of-balance ecology faced by the philosophers of the school of Frankfort, make their research have great changes. They face the reality of the natural environmental pollution in capitalist society, so they put forward the distinctive " eco-crisis " theory. They though, in today's capitalist, the crisis of the ecological environment has already substituted the economic crisis and people should pay their attention to the environmental question from the economic question.Finally, the author also analyzed "eco-Marxism" further, it seems in the crisis theory of " eco-Marxism " that in the capitalist society, not only accumulate in process of production but also accumulate. The purpose of "eco-Marxism" theory is double; it will design and broken excessive producing and socialism future when excessive consumption will be controlled. A series of questions put forward while probing into people, It is clear fact that Western Marxist's methodology and ideas is a high guidance for us to solve environment problems that merges in the process of socialistic modernization.
