Daihatsu Thermal Power Plant Crisis Management Mechanism

Chinese company experienced SARS and Birds Flu in 2003, and then they realized the importance of "Crisis Management". Though they knew that it's important for them to prevent and control the inevitable crisis, but few of them has actualized the "Crisis Management". And in the meanwhile, "Crisis Management" has special meaning for Chinese Power Company especially under the circumstance that our country facing the short supply of power.Through analyzing a real crisis management case happened in a power company (Dafa Power and Heating Company) and take into account of the relevant crisis management theory, the writer would like to build a sound crisis management system to help the enterprise prevent and control the crisis (accidents that threaten the company's safety).This article is divided into 4 main parts:The first part simply introduced the background of the targeted company and relevant industry and also introduced the purpose and meaning of this study.In the second part, the writer introduced the definition and sort of "crisis" as well as the relevant updated "Crisis Management" theory.In the third part, the writer analysis the real crisis case (fuel leak crisis), mainly introduced the case background and the fuel leak crisis' breaking, handling as well as the impact to Dafa Heating and Power Company.Last part is the most important part in this article. Through integrating the relevant theory and the enterprise's real situation, the writer bring forward to build a "Crisis Management System" in Dafa Heating and Power Company including Crisis Prevention System, Crisis Handling System and After Crisis Summarizing etc.
