When China joined WTO at 2001, our companies had felt thepressure of International competition. The situation has been changedfaced with the competitors from all over the world, that our companieshave no choice but to raise our competitiveness. In 2005, it has been morethan 3 years since we joined WTO, more and more internationalcorporations have sat up their branches in our country. Also thegovernment has changed the attitude of the control of our companies andunfastened restraint of trade, which makes the competition severely. Howto attend the advantage of competition is what we need to discuss at theright time.Ⅰ.Content and Viewpoint a) Chapter One This article uses the method of illustration. The first part begins withthe phenomenon of the international trade of China. Through the figureswe can easily find some noticed problems, such as though we haveamount of export, the export products are labor-intensive, and less ofknowledge maintain. Because of the lower level commodity, china hasbeen in a disadvantageous situation of international trade. To change thissituation is what we have to solve in this paper. The second part is about to discusses where the competitiveadvantages lie in international trade. By analyzing the situation ofdeveloped countries' international trade, we found that their trades areconcentrate on the knowledge-intensive products, and because they havecaptured the core profit making part of producing line, their internationaladvantage competitiveness is obviously stronger than developingcountries. Why is there such distinction between developing and developedcountries? In the third part, it shows out what the benefit of internationaltrade is. Illuminate the differences of Comparative advantage strategy andthe competitive advantage strategy, it points out that the country under thedirection of competitive advantage strategy is better than under thedirection of comparative advantage strategy. This is no matter thatcompetitive advantage strategy is more suitable for the developingcountries in the information economy. Then, see through the micro, in the fourth part, it denotes as theprincipal part of market, enterprises' competitions in the internationalmarket shape up the competitions of the countries, and the competitiveadvantages of knowledge-based enterprises have composed thecompetitiveness of their country. Therefore, to find the competitiveness ofthe country is to find the competitiveness of the knowledge-basedenterprises. b) Chapter Two Chapter two is the investigation of three concluded modes by whichknowledge-based enterprises join the international trade. As the importantfactor of gaining competitive advantages in the international trade, theenterprises trade with the knowledge-intensive products by innovativeproducts trade, technological trade and service trade. Using theinternational corporations as the representatives of the knowledge-basedenterprises, it shows that the competitive advantages possessed by theknowledge-based enterprises are the key to their status in internationalcompetition. Knowledge is derived from innovations. The first part is about theinnovations of knowledge-based enterprises. The way to innovateknowledge contents R&D, HR and the innovation of concepts. Theinnovation is contributed to the otherness of products that suit all kinds ofneeds of the customers. The intellective products are the core of technological trade, throughthe methods such as the licensing and consulting. Especially for the tradeof intellectual property rights, the international corporations'technological trades have based on it. And they are using instruments oflaw to protect their rights. The third part is about the service trade. Service trade separated intotraditional service trade and modern service trade. Transportation andtravel belong to the first group. Financing, telecom and professionalservice belong to the second group.
