The purpose of this study is to find out the value changes of Chinese employees before and after they entered into American enterprises. Besides, it also analyzes what influence this changes bring on the cross-cultural communication. 63 people who had high educational level and have worked for American enterprises for a period of time were involved in this investigation. The author drew out four factors after statistical analysis, which account for 80.515% of the total variance altogether. The result shows that four aspects have obviously changed after Chinese employees entered into American companies. They are privacy regulation, power distance, uncertainty avoidance and pursuit of self-realization. These changes have relatively strong relationship with the characteristics of the informants, who have realized some changes in the four aspects before they worked for American companies. But after entering into American companies their values made some changes on the former basis through daily communication with their American counterparts. Understanding these changes is helpful to effective cross-culture communication and Human Resource Management.
