Since the dawn of human civilization, the mankind has neverstopped learning. People's life is a procedure of constant learning. Fromancient Greek philosopher, thinker to today's management researcher andpsychologist, the expert and scholar from various areas all want to unveilthe mysterious human learning.Individual learning has been studied for several thousand years andorganizational learning theory has been in the existence for nearly 50years. However, the conception of network learning is still in itsembryonic stage. One of the two purposes of this paper is to establishnetwork learning model by developing extant learning theories. UsingKim's OADI-SMM model as the base we create OADI-SMM-NSMMmodel of network learning. With the help of previous researches thispaper clarifies the concept of network learning and its characteristics. We also reveal the differences between relevant ideas. All theoreticalworks we have done is for smoothly carrying out further research."Network"is definitely not a new term in both Managementresearch and business world. Various networks, such as interpersonalnetworks, interorganizational networks, computer networks, etc, areubiquitous. It's safe to say that everybody lives in a certain network. Thenetwork researches focus on network structure, the evolution and changeof network and the correlation between network and performance.Considering the great importance of interpersonal network, the studychooses it as the target of empirical research. The second purpose of this paper is to study how interpersonalnetwork influences individual performance. On the basis of interpersonalnetwork theories and analysis, the empirical researches focus on howinterpersonal network structure and knowledge diversity have an impacton individual performance. The individual performance includes overallperformance and innovation performance. By using social network...
