At present, China has been experiencing a deep-going transformation both in economy and society. Making a general survey of the history of human development, China has received such a fast pace of development and such an extensive changes of society. No other countries in the world can do so. Nevertheless, There exists some disequilibria following the development, and in fact, China is a great developing country with disequilibria .For example, There are indispensable differences between kinds of regions in terms of geographical conditions, population, resources, social and economic conditions, and there are somewhat disequilibria in terms of the speed of development, which can been seen in the disparity between ethnic minority and the Han ethnic group in terms of politics, economy and even culture. And as a matter of fact, when it comes to culture, the gap can be striking. As known to all, what is the fundamental factor lies in culture, and the factor of culture has been playing an important role in both survival and development of ethnic minority. Therefore, the focal point of our study, finally, lies in probing into the development of ethnic minority with the background of development of ethnic minority and modernization from the angle of culture.There are follow three parts in this paper:The first part mainly probes into both relations and differences between the process of modernization and the development in regions of ethnic minority, along with opportunities, challenges and gaps, which regions of ethnic minority are confronted. And finally, it comes to a viewpoint, that is, "to settle the problem of ethnic minority, it is essential for them to develop themselves."The second part attaches great importance to modes of development in regions of ethnic minority, as well as the transformation of the modes with the development of modernization in those regions. In the meantime, this part also probes into the endogenous modes, which fit to the characteristics of regions of ethnic minority. Furthermore, it points out: since culture is not only psychological consciousness, but an important resource of development of ethnic minority, culture is an inherent source...
