Philosophy is the theoretical foundation of other disciplines. It is also the cream of era and living soul in civilization. Ideological and Political education integrates the political education of the thoughts with the ideological education of politics, which is inseparable of philosophy. Philosophy is a systematical theory about outlook on world, life and values about methodology, with Ideological and Political education at its back, which in return, should extend its field into Ideological and Political education. However, because of long-term barriers among the disciplines and some other factors, in our country, the substance of Ideological and Political education is nearly lost in Philosophy research, for the same reason, Ideological and Political education is short of Philosophy theory and method. The latter results in our country's ineffectual Ideological and Political education. Under the guidelines of Marxism, this essay expounds on the Philosophy issues relating to Ideological and Political education in three major aspects: Philosophical connotation, philosophical system and philosophical orientation, so as to make good the imperfection in Ideological and Political education and ensure that it can develop in a health and effective manner. This essay also makes an influence on implementing the article "suggestion on further strengthening and improving university student's Ideological and Political education." is used by central committee of CPC and state council, carrying out "Eight honors, eight shames" put forward by president Hu Jintao recently, constructing the harmonious society, achieving the scientific development, promoting socialists civilization.The Philosophical thinking of Ideological and Political education approximately includes three major parts and eight contents, which is distinguished and related mutually. I. The Philosophy connotation in Ideological and Political education: A. The fundamental connection between Philosophy and Ideological and Political education;B. The role of Philosophy in Ideological andPolitical education. II. The Philosophical system of Ideological and Political education: A. The ontology of Ideological and Political education, (a) Subject and object and them relations, (b) Essential attribute and general low;B. Epistemological components of Ideological and Political education., (a) Factors of world outlook, on life, values and their inner links, (b) The connotation and components of morality outlook and political outlook;C. Methodology used in Ideological and Political education, (a) Simultaneous use of inculcation and stimulation, (b) Classification of sequence coupled with progressive method, (c) Integration of exception with generality, (d) Stressing the important points and making the overall pains, (e) Integration of theory with practice, (f) Interconnecting each factor to achieve maximum benefits. III. The Philosophy orientation of Ideological and Political education: A. Focusing on humanity and complying with the law of nature;B. The liberation of individuality and development in an all-around way;C. Harmony of man with nature.
