The Commercial Banking Law of 1995 and the Security Law of 1998 established thelegal system of different financial sector's operating their own respective business.There is no absolutely good or bad for both of them. Both the Divided operationpattern and the Mixing operation pattern have their value. From the present situationof divided operation pattern of financial trade in our country and the reason to it,combining the challenge of joining WTO for the financial trade of our country,Mixing operation pattern, with its peculiar advantage, became the only choice for ourcountry.There are three models of Mixing operation pattern all over the world. Universalbanks of Germany, Financial keiretsu of Japan and Financial holding company ofU.S.A. After investigation, we find that financial holding company becomes aninevitable choice for china.The article consists of six parts as well as a foreword and a conclusion.The first part is the brief introduction of the related concept, including the scope ofcommercial banking law and security law, Divided operation pattern and Mixingoperation pattern. The second part analyzes the history changing of the above twosystem in the west countries. And the study object is U.S.A, England and Japan. Thethird part analyzes the advantages of both of them, and tells us why people choosethem different in different time. The forth part introduces the present situation ofdivided operation pattern of financial trade in our country and its reason. The five partintroduces the three different model all over the world. The last part concernssuggestions on the choose of financial holding company model in china.
