Peace and development are the general characteristics of modern times. Under these circumstances the world structure and international relations have experienced great and significant changes. Relations between major powers are complicated and determinant, characterized by contending and harmony, competition and cooperation.US-European relations and Sino-Russian relations are always the focus of world arena, especially since the end of last century, these two bilateral relations have taken on new features. We are glad to see that the problems on Sino-Russian borderline issue have been solved and the partnership between the two sides has been greatly promoted. On the contrary, America and its old friend Europe began to have divergence in many aspects because of American's unilateralism and Europe's integrity. What's the essence behind such complicated phenomena? What course will the two bilateral relations follow?
