Justice Perspective Of The Functions Of The Government Study

Social justice is increasingly becoming the focus of people with the development of market economy of socialism. As one of core values of socialism, justice is the main content and guarantee of harmony society construction. The realization of three principle justice ideas: liberty, equality and cooperation cannot come true without government. The realization of justice acquire positive actions of government and the government is supposed to take common benefit as its core and try to maximize it, so as to realize effective social development and highly harmony social justice. From justice point of view, the establishment of service-type government, strengthening civil political acceptation and building up harmony society are aims of government functional construction.The first chapter is summarization of the paper. First of all, the implication of justice is introduced. It points out that social justice is one of core values of harmony society of socialism, then it hold out that positive government can boost social justice. Finally, this caper summarize that Chinese government is supposed to play a positive role in strengthening citizen's capability, guaranteeing effective and sufficient supply with public goods and promoting social cooperation.The second chapter is about the obligation of government in strengthening citizen's capability. To start with the implication of citizen's capability and the enlightenment it gives to Chinese government, the paper emphasizes that government should fulfill its duty in three aspects: guarantee civil basic rights, distribute common items equally and attach importance to redistribution so as to promote social justice.The third chapter concerns government's supply of public goods. The necessity of supply with public goods by government is introduced theoretically and the paper takes education, public health and social security as examples to analyze the present situation of supplies with public goods by Chinese government. Then related measures and suggestions are proposed.The forth chapter discusses social cooperation and government support. Starting with social cooperation idea, the paper analyze the predicament confronted in Chinese social cooperation, pointing out that government should play a positive role in reducing the gap between the poor and the rich, energetically fight against corruption, building up transparent, open, honest and trusty government, supporting the development of the "Third Sector" and so on .The fifth chapter is the conclusion of related discussion. Concretely three aspects: theory, system, behavior are taken into consideration in service-type government establishment; the paper discusses the development of Chinese political development and its legitimacy basis, pointing out that social justice should be the important basis of government legitimacy so that we can strengthening civil political acceptation and building up harmony society.
