From the year 2003 to 2005, the pro-U.S. opposition parties in Georgia, Ukraine and Kyrgyzstan successfully ousted the rulers and ultimately seize power, which is what is known as "color revolution". Objectively speaking, the internal factors such as the slow pace of economic development, serious political corruption, intensifying regional and ethnic conflicts play a major role in the happening of "color revolution". But there is also a very important external factor, which is that the United States impels the "revolution" from behind the scenes. In fact, the subversive activities to the socialist countries and the anti-U.S. or non-pro-U.S. regimes have been manipulated by the U.S. no long after the WWII ended. After the end of the Cold War, the United States even views it as its important national interests to promote American democracy in the world. Since then, the U.S. has been attempting to establish a world dominated solely by the "American democratic" regimes, so that it can make its goal of ruling the world come true. This is the essence of the U.S.'s "global democracy" strategy.U.S.'s purpose of carrying out the "global democracy" strategy is not to help other countries conduct their democratic reforms. Instead, its real intention is to divide, disrupt and restrain all those countries that confronted with the interests of the United States or those that may become a potential strategic adversary of the U.S.'s, so that it can achieve the purpose of weakening or controlling those countries, and finally realize the national interests of the United States and maintain its superpower status and hegemony in the world. The scandal of the U.S. manipulating the "revolution" from behind the scene recur in the "color revolution" taking palace in the CIS countries since 2003, which has set and will set the economic development and social stability of even more countries facing severe challenges again. After the breakup of the Soviet Union, China has become the world'slargest socialist country ruled by the Communist Party; therefore, China naturally becomes the focus of concern in the U.S.'s "global democracy" strategy. At present, China is faced with the U.S.'s powerful "democratic offence". Under this situation, China should learn from those countries struck by "color revolution" and prevent the U.S. - led western countries to stage a "color revolution" in China by taking the countermeasures of strengthening the ability to govern, developing the socialist market economy vigorously, building a socialist democracy system with Chinese characteristics , enhancing the management of international non-governmental organizations and having a correct attitude toward cultural exchanges with the U.S..
