With the further development of the globalization of information, Chinese scholarlyperspectives towards China's foreign strategy have become more and more diversified.With the method of cognitive analysis of political psychology, this thesis aims tomake a systematic study of the Chinese scholarly perspectives towards China's majorforeign strategy advocated after the end of the Cold War. The major China's foreignpolicy to be discussed in this article includes: "Keeping low profile and binding one'stimes" (taoguangyanghui) policy, "multipolarization" strategy, the democratization ofinternational relations, the New Security Concept, multilateral diplomacy and China'sinvolvement with the world, Peaceful Rise/Development and the Harmonious Worldconcept, etc.The thesis is composed of five parts. The introduction part will mainly discuss themotivation and objectives of this thesis. In the first chapter, the author will mainlydiscuss the content, study method of the cognitive analysis theory and the major topicand methodology of the article; In the second chapter, the author will make anintroduction of the major China's foreign policy after the end of the Cold War, aslisted above; In the third chapter, the author will discuss the diversified scholarlyperspectives towards the official foreign policy; In the forth chapter (conclusion part),the author will make a conclusion based on the characterization of the Chinesescholarly debate and consensus on China's foreign strategy.This thesis will serve as an asset for better understanding how China views therelation between the world and itself, and it also helps predict the future focus anddemands of China in international affairs.
