Power and the activities centered by power have structured the core ofpolitics. This discourse starts with the conception of rights; bring forth the twodimensionalities of rights: private and public. In those two dimensionalities thepublic one means "the public power" or "the political power". Andsimultaneously the political power can also be divided into two dimensionalities. The private means the personal carrier. And at the same times, thecompulsion of the power will induced the expanded of private dimensionalitiesand the lack of public dimensionalities. Thereby form the conflict between thetwo dimensionalities of political power. This kind of conflict will lead to thereduce of the validity of the political authority. The development of the modern society requests the human liberation. Iturges one to break down the traditional govern mode, search for the newtestification of validity. In this course the social contract theory take on thisassignment. The social contract theory demonstrate the transform from "thedivine right of kings" to "demotic sovereignty" and from the "governmentalcontract" to the "social contract". In order to answer the questions, "who willrule" and "why obey". These two question is the basic one to solve the problemof validity. And via this, the social contract theory established the conception ofthe modern states. At the end of this discourse I will try to make a dialecticanalysis. Make the reasonable standpoint of the social contract into thepractical political construction and try to solve the problem of the conflictbetween the two dimensionalities. The first chapter is one kind of philosophical research, mainly to talk aboutthe origin of the problem. The second chapter is one kind of historical research, aiming at the logic clue of the social contract theory. The last chapter is baseson the first two chapters, using historical and philosophical method to draw aconclusion.
