The Impact Of Public Diplomacy On The Sino-japanese Relations

Nowadays, with the arrival of information society, the public has a great effect on country's diplomatic policy. Public diplomacy, which also has a great effect on foreign relations, especially on the restoration and the development of Sino-Japan relations, arouses people's attention. The cultural exchange plays more and more important role on international relations. As the great animation country, Japan's animation industry brings great economic interests. At the same time, in order to improve the Japan's national image and enhances Japan's national status, Japan implements animation diplomacy and develops the relations with other countries with the aid of animation. China and Japan are close neighbors in Asia, and the relations between the two countries can date back to ancient times. And the stable development of the relations between China and Japan is important to the stability of Asia. According to the analysis of Japan's animation, China should develop its animation industry to create huge economic interests. Meanwhile, China also should develop its own animation characteristics and should improve the recognition for the important role of culture in diplomacy. Moreover, with the study of Japan's animation diplomacy, China can develop better public diplomacy. Though China and Japan have developed public diplomacy for many years and have got great achievements, there are still some problems in it. The resolution of the problems is beneficial for the further development of the Sino-Japanese public diplomacy, for the establishment of new culture atmosphere and for the stable development of Sino-Japan relations.The main part of this paper can be divided into three chapters: the first chapter introduces the development of Sino-Japan public diplomacy; the second chapter focuses on the analysis of Japan's animation diplomacy; the third chapter points out the problems existing in Sino-Japan public diplomacy and proposes solutions to the problems, and analyzes the prospects of Sino-Japan public diplomacy.
