Georgia is located at the combination of the southern part of Europe and Asia. It is the land channel between the Black Sea and the Caspian. Obviously, it weights a lot speaking of its peculiar location strategy. Since the end of the cold war, Georgia has kept close and complicated relationships on politics and economics with Russia and America. Both Russia and America refer to Georgia as the great strategic location on their political, economic and military benefits. After"9.11"event, the political competition on location has become the center of the relationships between Russia and America. The two powers started fierce combat in Georgia. Now the Georgia situation has been one of the hot topics on international politics.The paper tries to interpret the geographical location of Georgia and its peculiar strategic value. The following parts are explained in detail: the change of the policy of Russia in Georgia after the cold war; the strategy of Russia in Georgia; the process of relationships between America and Georgia; the intervention of America on Georgia. The paper comes to the conclusion that Russia and America have combat in Georgia and what effects will be produced. This conclusion of the paper aims to be beneficial to foreign policies of China.
