The police of forensic science are attached to criminal police in China, compared with police in other departments of Shanghai Public Security Bureau , they have higher record of formal schooling and more characteristics of knowledge workers. Because of the content and form of forensic science work, they are required to master professional knowledge and technology. At present, there is little cross between the research on the incentive of the police and the research on the incentive of knowledge workers, this study may provide a moment .Since the forensic science has been an important sector in the public security work in Shanghai, this study will also provide some basic information which can be used to reform the incentive of the police of forensic science in Shanghai.The first, according to some study results from incentive which have been researched and some actual situation of Shanghai Public Security Bureau, the author put some relevant factors forward that may influence the degree of work satisfaction of the police of forensic science. On the basis of these factors setting, the author conduct a sample survey into the police of forensic science in Shanghai. The target sample survey conducted statistical analysis.Secondly, except earnings, the use of frequency analysis drawn the incentives of the police of forensic science in Shanghai for :1 work surroundings and interpersonal relationship , 2 improve personal ability ,3 confidence and approbation from leaders and colleagues, 4 promotion, 5 work autonomy, 6 personal development, 7 achieve personal objective, 8 challenge.The correlation coefficient analysis also shows that those factors' satisfaction degree is positive correlation. Then , using T-test and F-test analysis to study the differences of those factors' satisfaction degree according to different demographic characteristics and organizational characteristics.Finally, according to the findings, did in-depth analysis of the formation of the conclusions. Then, based on the police of forensic science of Shanghai characteristics, needs and current situations, made a few recommendations: 1 establishing harmony interpersonal relationship on the idea of "people-oriented" , 2 establishing open channels of communication to reform organizational communication ,3 implementing fair and effective assessment incentive,4 focus on personal development and the design of career goals.The final part of introduction describes the deficiencies.
