Based on the two-factor theory and using questionnaire survey method,this paper takes the police of Yongzhou Public Security Supervision as the research object,applies the two-factor theory to the construction of incentive mechanism for supervising police,and explores the incentive of supervising police.The results of the questionnaire survey show that,firstly,the supervising police in Yongzhou are slightly older and less educated;secondly,their health factors can not meet the need effectively and the supervising police have relatively low perception of organizational policy and management,salary and welfare,and working environment;thirdly,their incentives are not effectively used.Personal autonomy and challenging of work,sense of accomplishment,learning and growth,and promotion mechanism need to be further strengthened and improved.On this basis,combined with the actual situation of Yongzhou Supervision bureau,this paper discusses the problems existing in the current incentive mechanism of supervising police and its realistic causes.Based on the two factor theory,this paper puts forward some countermeasures and suggestions for improving the incentive mechanism.First,we should improve the supervision team and forge high-quality teams of supervising police.Secondly,proceeding from the health factors,we should reduce or even eliminate their dissatisfaction factors,improve and implement the supervision system,improve the salary and welfare system,create a better working environment and ease their psychological pressure.Thirdly,proceeding from the incentives,we should strengthen incentive measures by correcting their recognition of supervisory work and seting up challenging work objectives;establishing positive values as well as stimulating their morale;strengthening their educational training;optimizing the promotion mechanism.
