Analysis Of China's Southwest Region Drug Offense, Crime

Science the eighties, lasts century, under multiple factors'effect, a large number of drug was carried from Burma to China. The drug was carried to Hong Kong and the U.S.A. through the southwestern region of China, where inhabited by many national minority groups. And this makes drug abuse and drug-related crimes start all over again, and do a great harm to our country, especially to the southwestern region of our country.Recent years, more and more serious consequence has come to the national minorities who live in the southwestern China. Get a better understand of the drug-related crimes of the southwestern China and explore solutions is quite important to us.This thesis is divided into three parts.The first-part is the base of the whole passage. In this part, I introduced some fundamental conceptions which are related with drug and drug-related crimes. The unique harm that drug and drug-related crimes brings to the southwestern region, where many national minorities live in was also being discussed in this part.In the second part, current situation of drug and drug-related crimes within national minorities'region of southwestern China was stated. And the reason why drug-related crimes were rampant within this area was analyzed.The third part is about the counter-measures study under such kind of situation. This part involves legislation, folk law, international cooperation and dealing with the related social problems, such like education and economic.Following research methods have been used in this thesis.Firstly, the research towards history. The study of this thesis is based on the understanding of the anti-drug history of China. A hundred and seventy years ago, drug gave us a lesson paid for with blood. And this lesson still has practical significance nowadays.Secondly, documentation collection. Documentation collection is the base of further study. A large number of cases in this thesis were build on the analysis toward those documentation.Thirdly, multidisciplinary studies. This subject is not only a law issue, but also concern about Sociological Studies, Economics, and medical science, etc. Multidisciplinary studies will help us understand this subject more objective and comprehensive.Fourthly, method of comparative analysis. In this passage, comparison between southwestern region and other area will be used so that to make the solutions more targeted.In a word, drug abuse and drug-related crimes problem of the southwestern national minority region of China is the topic of this passage. Under this topic, we summarized the historical experience, combined it with reality, and then set up constructive suggestions. Meanwhile, according to the new anti-drug law of China, which is came into force in 2008,I also put forward some relevant proposals.
