Secondary Vocational School Students Weariness Of The Performance, Causes And Countermeasures

With continuous attention paid on vocational education and increase of its position, it has developed rapidly. However students in vocational school get more and more sick of studying as a result of constant expanding enrollment, pursuit for higher degree and opinions on uselessness of knowledge. It has seriously harmed the training of vocational technicians with higher quality that the quality of secondary vocational education has slid unstopped. Thus, as a teacher in vocational school, it is an inescapable subject to face and also necessity for healthily rapid development of secondary vocational education that we should admit the sickness, find out the reason and put forward a plan to solve it.In this paper, based on the relevant documents, I picked four secondary vocational schools as models. I started with analyzing the circumstances of students'sickness and major existing problems, by which I designed two questionnaires for both teachers and students in vocational schools. And the questionnaires are produced on six sides, phenomena of sickness, teachers'reasons for sickness, teaching courses and textbooks, teaching environment, system and personal reasons for sickness. Combining the questionnaires and interviews on teachers and students, I investigated the problems, the results said the sickness problem has been very ugly and the number has increased uninterruptedly in Dalian. The major reasons are that teachers'shortage of professional skills, the course and textbooks not following occupation very closely, social vicious environment, studying atmosphere in school not quite refreshing, home education not successful, the systems of college and high school entering tests, the incompletion of students'evaluation and personal factors of students.
