In recent years the volleyball match in national institutions of higher education has been well under way, all the overall level of the volleyball team has been continuous improvement, it sets higher demands to the overall capability of the volleyball team's coach. Higher coaching capacity of the coaches have more advanced players, can also improve the sport competition of higher education. So it is very necessary to analyse the status about the construction of the high-level volleyball team's coach in Shandong province.This article use Shandong university, Shandong normal university, Shandong agricultural university, Qufu normal university and so on nine universities about the high-level team's coach for study. Using the methods of documentation, expert discusion, questionnaire, mathematical statistics and logical analysis. It will investigate and analyse the volleyball team coach's general level and construction from the coach's basic conditions, the coach's ideological and moral construction, the coach's professional quality and ability construction, the coach's input mechanism and the coach's management and evaluation mechanism. Promoting a healthy,durative and developmental countermeasures with realities.Results shows:1.The high-level volleyball coach's age structure is reasonable in Shandong province, the coach are energetic and strength enough, could complete the training task successfully, there is a big gap about gender proportion, more male coach; the coach's levels of education is high relatively, but the high degree of coach is few; most of the coaches have definite professional sport experience and teaching experience; there are more coach who are associate professor.2.There is a good opinion of the coach's ethical standards and mentality quality; the coaches have the ability to control the information,can realize the importance of information, but they rarely participate in research activities, writing books and publishing papers seldom, English and Computer's level is general and negligent.3.Sports training is in accordance with development of the laws, training and time is in accordance with the training programmes, training of athletes accord with the status in the universities, but most of coaches have overlooked the psychology training and have not realized the importance of psychological training. the main team funding comes from grants in the school, the source of funding is single, the team lack social influence.4.Although most of coaches have taken part in job training, the job training opportunities is too little and the opportunities of intercommunion is little also, lack of effective organization and having not establish training system; large part of the college have a reward of machanisms and special incentive policy, but the coach's treatment need to improve.5.The form of appointments is adopted as selection of the volleyball coach in the General Universities of Shandong, it has more subjective element, and there is small competitive pressures for the selection of the coach; carrying out the policy in the examination of the coaches and comprehensive,equitable; the evaluation of the professional qualities about coaches is high, the evaluation of the management about coaches is general.Accordingly the following recommendations:1.The competent departments of the college coaches to establish a strict training system, Speed up the cultivation of high-level coaches to enhance the exchange of coaches and learning, to further improve the academic coaches and title structure.2.Further improve the province's research capacity of college volleyball coaches, the team's training and research activities combine to enhance the skills of instrumental emphasis.3.Improve the training system, training, including psychological training; Schools to increase investment in the team, multi-channel funding to expand the team.4.Attention to the training of coaches, training coaches comprehensive quality; established coaches appointment system, the posts eligible for inclusion in the assessment indicators to coaches; improve the treatment of coaches, coaches to develop appropriate incentives to improve Coaches initiative.5.Coaches improve the selection system, and enhance competition coaches, so that the direction of full-time college coaches to develop a higher level to further attract the college coaches to teach;establish a sound management system of coaches and strengthen the scientific management team to further enhance the management capacity of coaches.
