Female College Students Employment Concept

In recent years, with the expanding of the higher education scale and the reform of graduates'employment system, the university graduates'employment problems are increasingly prominent. The female college students'employment problem has aroused wider public concern because of their gender characteristics. The female college students are peers and they are the youngest and the most energetic in their contemporaries. They are also in the golden age of education, and their career aspirations will directly affect their behavior and results of application for jobs. Grasping the present situation of female college students'career aspirations and helping them establish correct career aspirations which are adapted to the social development and the market needs has key theoretical and practical meanings. In this paper, base on the questionnaire and interview with the female college students in Shangdong Normal University, the author tries to comprehensively learn the contemporary female college students'career conception, get the statistical analysis of the causes of this situation and put forward some suggestions and countermeasures to help them establish correct career conception. Through this research, we can probe the changing regulation and the causes of female college students'career conception from the macro view and the academic angle. We also want to help them set up correct career aspirations and promote the female college students'employment.This paper consists of four parts. The first part is about the connotation of contemporary female college students, it briefly elaborates the evolution and the significance of their career conception. In the second part, the author does a series of research by taking the issuance of questionnaires and individual interview to the students of all disciplines in Shangdong Normal University to analyze the contemporary female college students'career conception. It analyzes it from the following five aspects: career cognitive status, ideal target, mentality status, employment value orientation and the way of employment realization and summaries the positive and passive aspects of their career conception and the comparison with the male college students'. Part Three studies the influence factors that influence their career conception. It mainly states the cause analysis from the western culture factors, social factors and their individual factors. The last part states the countermeasures to help contemporary female college students establish correct career conception. The formation of correct career conception needs the effort of the governments, the employers, the universities, students'family and themselves.
