Since the end of last century, with continuous expanding of the enrollment size in higher education institutions and the rapid growth in the number of college students, China has entered the stage of higher education massification. However, the rapid development of higher education also faces many challenges, among which the quality of teaching in colleges faces an especially severe test.With a comprehensive application of literature studies and comparative research methods, this research analyzes the whole process of teaching in terms of system theory, cybernetics, information theory, modern management science, quality management and quality standards iso9000 family theory. The author first found out current problems in the supervision of Teaching Quality in China's research-oriented universities, discovered the influential factors through the analysis of the basic characteristics of these universities, and then formulated a series of specific monitoring strategies and monitoring methods on the basis of previous findings. These methods are summarized in the formation of a set of theoretical systems, aiming to promote the teaching quality in research-oriented universities.In conclusion, combining foreign experience and the actual situation in China, the author proposed the operation mode and mechanism of internal control systems in the supervision of teaching quality in research-oriented universities.
