It is generally known that composition is an important measure to evaluate the student's comprehensive quality, and the composition teaching is an important component of Chinese teaching. In the same way, it has been being the point and crux of our Chinese education. Although teachers and students have made a great contribution and gained some achievement in a way, the present situation of thesis teaching still is not optimistic, especially in senior high school. Now, an emphatic characteristic development has become mutual tendency and goal of the world education revolution. Characteristic composition teaching by personalized talents as the goal, take people as the starting point and end-result of teaching. Characteristic composition teaching has been accepted by more and more teachers and students because of its own features and advantages.This text focuses on four aspects:first, the explanation of characteristic composition teaching. It is main from the related notion progress of angles, such as psychology and pedagogy…etc. to personality, characteristic composition, characteristic composition teaching. Second, the explanation about carrying out the theoretical basis of characteristic composition teaching. It mainly includes A Multiple Intelligence theory and Humanistic Theory and Student-centered education theory and Constructivism Theory. Third, the necessity and importance of characteristic composition teaching in senior high school. Carrying out characteristic composition teaching is not only education to adjust age's development, to implement the new course standard requirements,but also the former experience summary of composition teaching, what's more, it also has transformed the urgent request that the composition teaching allows of no optimistic present condition. Fourth, Implementation strategies of characteristic composition teaching in senior high school. This fraction is the point of full text, which is mainly from returning to life and demonstrating the personalized ideas and experiences, treating reading and writing equally, improving training and personalized expression, cultivating characteristics language, improving a characteristic writing skill and creating diverse appraisal system, establishing multiple evaluation system, forming characteristics evaluated methods and so on six aspects of how to specific implementation characteristic composition teaching during the senior high.
