| This thesis chooses a Drama in Education Workshop in Summer Camp of Jizhong Sanxin Bilingual School in Zhongshan City, Guangdong Province (hereinafter referred to as"Sanxin Bilingual School") as the specific case. Through observing, analyzing and summarizing deeply the case, the thesis presents the background, current situation and elicitation of Drama in Education in the primary schools of China. This thesis is expected to be a good reference for the current development of Drama in Education in the primary schools of China.The thesis is divided into three parts. The first part is the introduction of the purpose and the methods of research in this thesis, and the second part is divided into four chapters and contains the main contents of this thesis.The first chapter analyzes the theory background and policy background of the Drama in Education in the primary schools of China, which include the discrimination of the concept, the characteristics of Drama in Education, and the current domestic and international policy environment of Drama in Education in primary schools. The second chapter analyzes the details of the case, which include the background, contents and methods. The analyses of these details are the basement of the next two chapters. The third chapter analyzes the physiological and psychological characteristics of the target population of Drama in Education in the primary schools of China and summarizes some existing problems. The analyses are to explain the current situation of Drama in Education in the primary schools of China. The fourth chapter presents the importance of Drama in Education in the primary schools at first, and paints the future and prospects of Drama in Education in the primary schools of China.The last part concludes the whole thesis and emphasizes the necessities of carrying out the courses and other related activities of Drama in Education in the primary schools of China.
