With the rapid development of information society, multimedia network technology have made a profound impact in all aspects of social life, Education Virtual Communities become online homes of teachers and students, they can provide better services for education and learning. Most of students grow up in a network environment, the learning channel is also showing a trend of diversification, In the whole teaching process, teachers often focus on teaching and how to teach, which to some extent, ignored the positive initiative of students, they did not cause a positive response. In the new century, most students not only have different backgrounds, different life experiences and knowledge accumulation, but also have different mentality advantage, they have their own potential,students need a stage to display themselves. The teachers'tasks are to tap the students potential, mobilize the enthusiasm and creativity of students. Faced with this situation, for the overall development of students, what the reasons of affect the students learning? How to make students into and have long-lasting, high enthusiasm and participation in learning and other issues is a valuable research topic.The thesis is based on the above issues raised. With the undergraduate course of study "Learning Sciences & Learning Technologies ",using the combination of theoretical and empirical to conduct research. First, the situations of related areas at home and abroad and on this basis that the current problems and future development direction are analyzed in the thesis. Second, a questionnaire is worked out by analyzing related concepts of the virtual community of education, achievement motivation, cognitive drive, and combined with related theory and basic principles. Third, the survey questionnaires issued to practice in undergraduate students, on this basis, some other students to understand and investigate by the way of interviews, summed up the factors which impact college students cognitive drive, analyzed and summarized the results to facilitate the learning activities in the future, achieve better learning outcomes. Finally, the results and prospects of this study are summarized.This research adopts action research method and the researcher gets involved in the learning process to observe the learning activities and do real-time interviews. So first-hand information on learning activities can be got. After the questionnaires and interviews, we analyze the feedback data. Those data can tell us the detailed introduction about the impact factors and training strategies. This study achieved the desired results, has been recognized by teachers and learners.
