The publishing of Plan and Preliminary Views for a Work on Comparative Education by Marc-Antoine Jullien in 1817 marks the birth of comparative education. Since reform and opening up China's comparative education has enjoyed a development of 30 years. The development of globalization and education reform in our county provides opportunities to China's comparative education. Meanwhile, grasping the opportunity is a challenge to China's comparative education. So the discipline construction of China's comparative education becomes the key to response the challenge. The scholars in China Mainland make lots of research and discussion on this issue and put forward lots of valuable opinions. These achievements largely exist in academic journal, degree papers and monographs, etc. Clearing up and research on these achievements will help us to recognize the problem and hold a correct direction of our comparative education.This paper analyzes and compares the opinions of scholars in China Mainland on the discipline construction of comparative education with literature analysis, comparative method and history study. Then this paper concludes and researches the discipline construction study of comparative education and puts forward an outlook.The whole paper is divided into five parts:"preface", "background analysis of the discipline development of China's comparative education in 21st century", "the analysis of opinions on discipline construction of comparative education put forward by scholars in China Mainland", "the road of indigenous evolution of China's comparative education in 21st century", "conclusion and outlook of comparative education in China Mainland".The preface is consisted of four parts:topic reasons, concept analysis, literature review, research ideas and methods.The first chapter is the background analysis of the discipline development of China's comparative education in 21st century which contains two aspect:international background and domestic background. International background refers to globalization, diversification and international discipline development of comparative education. Domestic background refers to China's education reform and domestic discipline development of comparative education.The second chapter is the analysis of opinions on discipline construction of China's comparative education put forward by scholars in China Mainland. The opinions are divided into three parts:research object, research method and discipline function of comparative education.The third chapter is the road of indigenous evolution of China's comparative education in 21st century. The whole research on discipline construction of comparative education aims at constructing a comparative education which has local features serves local education and has its own discursive power during international contact.The last chapter is the conclusion and outlook of comparative education in China Mainland. Firstly it points that the quantity and quality of the research raises a lot and the topics and points of view are more and more by concluding the opinions of scholars in China Mainland on the discipline construction of China's comparative education. Besides there are also some questions. Finally it gives us a research outlook of the discipline construction of China's comparative education. The indigenous evolution of China's comparative education will become the main trend. It will be more urgent to construct discursive power of China's comparative education. China's comparative education has a long way to make its discipline system constructed.
