How to promote the reformation of students'mode of learning is one of the key points of the new round elementary educational curriculum reformation. Nowadays, the educational world advocates some new modes of learning, such as, autonomic learning, cooperative learning and inquiry learning which are the core and key links to implement new curriculum. As a geography teacher of middle school, based on analysis and study of the characteristics and specific implementation of the new mode of learning and combining with current geography stage of teaching practice in middle school, the author tries to make use of fourth rings, guided learning modal of teaching which is based on "guide and arouse interests----self-explore learning (fully apply intuitive means) ----discuss, interpret and conclude----consolidate, transfer and improve" to transform the mode of learning. The teaching concept based on "four rings guided learning" not only mixes "independent, cooperative and inquiry" mode of learning advocated by new curriculum but also gives consideration to the advantages of traditional mode of learning which can make students have a smooth transition to new mode of learning. Students can experience the general process of cooperative and inquiry learning in real or stimulated real question scenes, which can enhance students'ability to solve practical issues and to achieve a profound comprehension of knowledge. Of course, the reformation of new curriculum put forward new challenge for our teachers'ability of teaching and the real fulfillment of goals of reformation needs our joint efforts. The practical attempt by the author propose new thinking and approaches for frontline teachers to reach goals of transforming students'mode of learning and put the reformation of elementary educational curriculum into practice.This essay through documentary analysis studies theoretical basis, methods and strategies for the implementation of "fourth rings guided learning" modal of teaching raised by predecessors and constructs modal of fourth rings guided learning. Choose experimental group and control group do one-year teaching experiments for modal of fourth rings guided learning. The experiments show:students in experimental group get certain improvements in many aspects and there is a great change in before and after experiment, for example, the number of the students who frequently actively query some questions has risen to 36% from 24% and the students advocate solving questions by consult have risen to 44% from 24% . The students who can carry out practical exploratory activities according to their own designed projects have grown from 2 percent to 20 percent. In addition,84% students can cooperate with others successfully. Students having a positive thinking in class are positively increased. Therefore, putting "fourth rings guided learning" modal of teaching into practice can boost students'sense of questions and sense of questioning and cultivate spirit of cooperation and habit and ability to explore problems initiatively for students. Without doubt, there still exist many problems demanding prompt solution in the proceeding of implementation but these can be further perfected by strengthening implementation of the system, converting the teaching concept of teachers, advancing teachers'quality of their profession, enhancing the instruction of mode of learning for students, increasing the influence of publicity, and presenting achievements of "fourth rings guided learning" modal of teaching according to features of learning contents,and after that it will correspond better to the law of development of modern education.
