Recently, in the field of humanities and social science of sports, sports economics has become a widely studied course. Sports good retailing industry belongs to sports economics and sports industry economics of research, and it belongs to sports geography category in spatial distribution.With China's rapid economic development, people's lives have been greatly improved in the material, spiritual and cultural aspects; sports have become a "necessity" in individuals'daily life. Sports industry has become a separate industry which played a significant role in our national economy. The important condition for accession to the WTO is a progressive liberalization of trade in services markets, and according to the market access and national treatment with the relevant provisions of foreign business investment.In such conditions, China's external commercial development open to a new period. Many foreign enterprises, especially foreign retailers have entered the Chinese market, for example:the French "Carrefour", Taiwan's "Trust-Mart," U.S. "Wal-Mart," and so on. At the same time, many large department stores, domestic manufacturing industries and the retail industries appeared in the commercial district in a variety of sale model articles. As the result, it promoted our scholars to research more about the sales of the industry, retail space and layout of theory. The research ranges from the commercial activities of large retail malls, retail store market research organizations, business organizations and mode selection of retail stores located in the research, development scale to the impact of urban spatial structure research. Many scholars give empirical study to the urban spatial distribution of the retail industry.Space activities of any combination of products and geography are inseparable, understanding the spatial distribution of goods, geographical features, transportation, demand relations, demand and market information, and in the knowledge of their sales on the basis of the space industry characteristics and patterns of distribution can make better use of economics, economic geography, business geography analysis theory and method of evaluation and distribution of commercial activities on specific issues. Shaanxi Province is the in economic and cultural center of northwest China, and the sports industry in Shaanxi Province has becoming an emerging force for national economic development. The study shows that people, especially in urban area, sports-related consumer spending continue to grow. Xi'an's regional advantages in the western development strategy have an important strategic position. In 2004, Shaanxi Province accounted for a large proportion of sales of sporting goods, research shows that all kinds of sporting goods franchise, concurrently has 1,600 stores and annual sales of nearly 20 million, formed a certain scale and become the main distribution center in Northwest China. The results show that 80.2% of the residents in Xi'an buy sports apparel (casual wear).79.8% were male,77.4% of women home. According to preliminary statistics, Xi'an to competitive performance, venue management, fitness services industry as the representative body made some progress in general. According to the research value of sports industry management about the main sports 50% of total operating revenue. Sales of sporting goods industry, the spatial distribution of sports content is one of the important geography.This paper uses literature, field survey, data statistics, maps, case analysis and other research methods, using the landmarks, traditional business districts, government planning, traffic distribution, population factors and level of education in a bid to Xi'an sporting goods industry as an example of selling sporting goods retail industry in urban spatial distribution. Reflect the sale of the city sporting goods distribution center and economic development of the industry centers, sports facilities and urban planner's ideas and so on. Provide advice to predict the sales of sporting goods industry for the city rational distribution, and the layout sale of different types and development of the industry.All parts of the overall sales of sporting goods industry in Xi'an show three center (respectively located in the province of Changan overpass around the stadium, the clock tower arouding, Golden Road, near the five interlocking large wholesale market) and universities around the distribution of trend.
