Employment Of College Graduates Analysis And Countermeasures

With employment being the basis of people's livelihood and college students being the precious human resources, the employment of college graduates is not only closely related to the economic, social and political issues, but also becomes a headache of families and social concern, as well as the "hot spots" of media attention. From social perspective, it relates to the success of the education reform, and the development of harmonious society, From students'aspect, it relates to the development of their talents and the life value; From universities'standpoint, it directly relates to the survival and development of colleges and universities. The main reasons causing difficult employment are the following ones:colleges'talent training mode cannot fulfill the needs of the society; college students have biased, employment concept; system construction is imperfect, etc. Therefore, the government should deepen reform, improve the policies, and guide students to changing employment concept. Colleges and universities should strengthen guidance and reform mode, adjust the talent training mode and strengthen employment guidance. Only in this way can the employment problems be better solved.Basing on some studies on higher education and the background of the employment of college graduates and focusing on analysis of the present employment situation, this paper first illustrates several major reasons for difficult employment from the the point of economic development and market demand, university's self-orientation and employment guidance mode, and the ideological and psychological factors of college graduates when seeking jobs. Finally, some relevant measures and suggestions will be put forward to help to solve the problems in economic development and reform, changing employment concept, consummate employment guiding policy.
