As a kind of reading and teaching method, reciting is always welcomed by many literati andteachers. It is also recognized as a symbolic phenomenon of a well-given Chinese class and ishighly thought of again in modern Chinese teaching. How to make reciting an efficient teachingand learning method and use it in Secondary Vocational Chinese teaching is all that we dream of.With the continuous development of the secondary vocational education, the teaching ofreciting in secondary vocational schools has made certain effort in teaching outline, trainingmethods and materials etc. However, the current situation of reciting teaching in secondaryvocational schools admits no optimism. According to the survey done in the school the writer isteaching, problems existed in aspects such as the inaction of students, the unconsciousness ofteachers and the simple and useless evaluation system, which prevented the research anddeveloping pace of Chinese reciting teaching in secondary vocational schools.Take the preschool education major in Lishui Secondary Technological School for example.Based on the analysis of the current situation and problems in Chinese reading teaching, the paperre-examined and discussed the Chinese reading teaching connotation, principles, contents, methods,and evaluation, trying to construct a new Chinese teaching system preliminarily in secondaryvocational schools: such as designing rich and vivid teaching contents, exploring Diversified andhierarchical reciting teaching guidance, strengthening extracurricular reading training, establishingeffective evaluation system. The paper listed the classroom teaching records and teachingexperience of reciting teaching given by secondary vocational school teachers and explored thevalue, significance and implementation of reciting teaching in these schools to provide somereference for the Chinese reading teaching practice and reform.
