With the development of computer technology and multimedia technology, the traditional classroom is to digitally into significant changes in the characteristics of the modern classroom, multimedia technology in the classroom has changed the traditional teaching methods and means to make the classroom full of vitality. Multimedia teaching resources under the concept of traditional education and applications as well as the choice of teaching content organization and presentation and so had no small impact. Multimedia teaching is inseparable from a variety of teaching resources, including text, sound, pictures, video, etc.... Video is more commonly used teaching resources as a video resource as a modern curriculum resource, with unique advantages, favored by many high school classroom teachers and education experts, and has been widely used in teaching. Use in the ideological and political education of high school in favor of video resources active classroom atmosphere, students’interest in learning, broaden their horizons, to promote teaching heavy and difficult to solve and optimize teaching methods to improve teaching effectiveness, teaching objectives successfully achieved a very important role and significance. However, the current high school political class resource use video-assisted instruction is not perfect, teachers prepare lesson video resources before the stage as well as after-school classes in the application stage lifting phase shall not be treated if the treatment will have many problems, the various stages of the problem would cause the application of video resources are insufficient, so that the video itself is a huge resource not maximize educational role.This article is based on the educational philosophy of the new curriculum, the audiovisual educational theory, constructivist learning theory, under the guidance of multimedia teaching theory as well as the "three stages seven-step theory’video use, combined with results of previous studies and their own teaching experience, from the perspective of the effective application of video resources departure, through literature study and empirical research, the current ideological and political lessons drawn using video-assisted instruction resource potential problems, focusing on how to use video resources in the ideological and political education school effectively.
