In recent years, China’s higher vocational education has achieved rapid development, making an important contribution to the economic construction and social development. However, as a result of late beginning, unbalanced development and relatively weak foundation of higher vocational education, the overall quality of the teachers in those schools have not been well adapt to the rapid development of higher vocational education. Teachers’professional development is the key factor of higher vocational teachers team construction, and has gradually become a hotspot in teacher education research. However, what experience did they have in the process of professional development? How did they view their own professional development? The research in these fields is less than others. Therefore, to the topic of higher vocational teachers’professional development, the author presents a vivid and detailed picture which is close to higher vocational teacher’s life.This research chose a teacher in a higer vocational colleges as the case. Based on related theory research and reviews, teacher’s professional quality structure is devided into four dimensions in this research. Through literature research method, case study method and interview method, the author do this research and narrate the teacher’s story from four aspects of "professional cordiality","professional knowledge","professional skills" and "professionalism", using language to fully describe the vivid picture of the teacher’s life and letting the readers have an immersive feeling and be enlightened from her story.Through the reviewing and exploration of the teacher’s professional process, the author analyzed the influence factors which affected her development, hoping to uncover the corner of higher vocational teachers’professional development, to find the truth behind the phenomenon of teachers’growth. There are some factors as follows:inter factor---cognitive ability (the foundation), motive and emotion (the power), life stage (the accumulation), personality (the booster); External factor---the family, school and society. Finally, based on the factors, the author put forward four-point proposal for general higher vocational teachers’professional development and made the reflection on this research.
