In recent years, Higher vocational education develops rapidly. Many higher vocational colleges begin to shift their concentration from the scale to all-around education, and teaching quality. It sets out to do the reformation of combining the work and study. As a key factor to improve the educational quality, the level of teacher staff is particularly important. Higher vocational teachers’ professional development is an important way to improve the teachers’ professional level and develop double teacher-quality. This is not only the needs of healthy development of higher vocational colleges, but also the needs of themselves. Research on the higher vocational teachers’ professional development is abundant. Most researchers started their studies from the connation, characteristics, and the way. But now the situation of teachers’ professional development in higher vocational colleges is not very good. So the paper choose a new perspective, from the security viewpoint to study how to guarantee the smooth realization of teachers’professional development.Existing researches put forward that teachers’ professional development is affected by some factors, for example, teacher education policies, management system, the school and the teacher culture, school resource and the concept of leadership. Higher vocational teachers are not exceptional. Policy security is a kind of guidance and supporter to higher vocational teachers’ professional development. System security constraints the activities of the teachers’ professional development. Resource security is the foundation and the spiritual security is not only a concept of security but also a kind of motivation. So this paper tries to analyze the security status about the case colleges from four aspects:policy, system, resource and spiritual security, then put forward some reasonable suggestions.Literature method questionnaire and interview survey were utilized in this paper, it chose teachers of Industry of of Career Technical College in Y city for object, and did some investigation about the level of teachers’professional development and security status,then found some problems. On the aspect of Policy security:Ignore the before-position training of higher vocational teachers; lack of professional standards about higher vocational teachers; and lack of qualification system about higher vocational teacher. On the aspect of system security:The recognition of systems is not high; executive power of systems is weak; and rules and regulations are not perfect. On the aspect of resource security:the funding for teachers’ professional development is inadequate; professional development time is not enough; and opportunities of going out to study are not equal. On the aspect of Spiritual security:Ignore instilling awareness of teachers’ professional development; ignore the construction of teachers collaborative culture, and ignore the humanistic care for teachers. According to above problems, This paper respectively put forward the strategies from four aspects:policy security, system security, resource security, and spiritual security, then tries to construct a complete security system of higher vocational teachers’ professional development。...
