Research On Composition Teaching Based On Network Platform

Modern technology for education has been advancing rapidly day after day, which has a impact on traditional Chinese teaching method, especially on the teaching of composition-writing. Facing this, where should the composition teaching forge ahead?We believe that modern technology provides a new opportunity for the traditional composition teaching. The reputation of internet changes our angle to consider the way of reforming the traditional composition teaching methods which now need improvements and adjustments. However, the process for the improvement is inclined to be in a wrong direction for if we over emphasize the skills of writing, it would be only utilitarian-oriented. As we know, traditional way for compulsory education in china is face-to-face teaching and will be for a long time. So, in this paper, we will discard the traditional extremism opinion towards online teaching. It is a decent way to modernize the traditional teaching methods. We plan to inspire students’interest in writing by combining both traditional ways and modern ways in terms of designing a complete circumstance, introducing a topic, managing themselves and evaluating the compositions. So that students will tend to writing of their own will.This paper will focus on the studies of theory and practice skills of online writing teaching.The introduction part briefly informs the background of network composition teaching, in which the difficulties of traditional writing teaching and the specific requirements for the information technology development will be pointed out. Then I will give a brief introduction about the process of online writing teaching according to the related studies both domestic and overseas to stress the significance of online writing teaching.In the first chapter, we will mainly explain the theoretical basis of writing: defining the online teaching from terms of technology, behavior and culture; then introducing theoretical basis that supports it including constructivism, humanism; finally pointing some advantages from the writing psychology angle.The second chapter will introduce several typical patterns of online writing teaching, and on this basis, further explains its great superiority. And also, some questions will be put forward.In the third chapter, I will propose my project to developing a platform for online writing teaching. A complete project from design principle to concrete steps to practice it will be displayed.The fourth chapter will give a full-round recommendation on this platform’s function of evaluating compositions. All respects about this platform will be explained in details in order to make up the shortcomings of traditional teaching method.
