Notation learning style fits the teaching principles of learning before teaching and of learning more, teaching less. It also enriches and develops the teaching theory of constructivism, for the new knowledge is constructed by basing on the students’ existing knowledge experience. Notation learning style is the practice of reception aesthetics theory, for the interaction between works and readers entrusts with the new meaning of the works during the reading process. What is more, it conforms to the core values of the dialogue theory, for there are multiple dialogue relations, such as students and works, students and authors, and students and teachers. This style enriches the ways of learning of independence, cooperation, and exploration, and gives full play to the students’subject position in classes, which makes the students masters of the classroom learning. Notation learning style agrees with the new national curriculum standard in2011.This paper applies the instruments of literature review and observation, and makes a description of notation learning style from five parts.Chapter One:The concept of notation learning style. Make a description from definition and classification.Chapter Two:The significance of notation learning style. Make a description from theoretical reasons and practical application.Chapter Three:The application strategy of notation learning style. Make a description from autonomy type, autonomy-communication type, and cooperation type, with the focus on the cooperation type.Chapter Four:The problems and solutions of notation learning style. Make a description from three aspects:the problems and solutions of notation, the problems and solutions of cooperation and communication and display, and the special problems and solutions.Chapter Five:Teaching case. Class observation about the teaching of Childhood in the Chinese textbook for Grade Seven by applying the notation learning style.
