Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language(TCFL), as part of the second language teaching, the teaching method is different from other subjects.Students always give up study halfway because of the boring process of learning a language. Therefore, the insufficient of the traditional boring teaching gave birth to the game teaching method. Especially in recent years, with the establishment of the Confucius institute in various countries, the game teaching method has been widely used and it is more and more recognized by teachers. In the method of game teaching, we always adhere to the principle of game serves for the basic knowledge, and strengthens the interaction between teachers and students, improves the students’ participation, arouses the enthusiasm of student, and a more efficient learning process will be arised through the game teaching.The article was written based on providing more games for teaching in Chinese as a foreign language (TCFL) teacher, and illustrating each game from the practice to its affection.The beginning of the article explains the reason why game teaching is used in TCFL, it discusses from several aspects such as teaching method of second language, theories of motivation and the theories of interest. Moreover, the article emphasizes the practicability and necessity of the game teaching from the senior high school students’ psychological characteristics.The second chapter of the article is the most important above all. In this chapter the author shows the application of the game practice. To such these games, after the author communicated with the partner teacher, the games have been changed a little bit in order to make the new games more suitable for students, thus the final purpose’game servers knowledge’could be achieved during teaching. After describe the games, based on the author’s own experience, she summed up the effect of factors in the game teaching method. Thus the pros and cons of the game teaching method are clearly presented to the TCFL teachers. It could help the majority of teachers’teaching work become more convenient.At the same time, the game method can not only available in Chinese as a foreign language class, it can also be applied to many other aspects, for instance, the spread of culture, other languages teaching. Therefore, for the game teaching method, it should be known and applied by more people. To popularize its benefits to the wider world, this is the deeper purpose and meaning of writing this article..
