This study aims at discussion the association of the awareness, and participationin network public opinion between political trust from college students in Shanghai.The main research objective is to understand the college students in Shanghai in theact of political news reading, especially the awareness and participation in networkpublic opinions, and whether the comparisons due to the different personalbackground variables; to understand the situation of political trust of Shanghaicollege students, and whether the comparisons due to the different personalbackground variables; to investigate the correlation between the situation ofawareness and participation in the network public opinions and political trust of thecollege students in Shanghai; after summarizing the research, specific suggestionswill be put forward in three aspects.In this study, the questionnaire survey method, literature analysis method areused to investigate and research as a framework. Through the preparation," TheRelationship of Awareness and Participation in Network Public Opinions with PoliticalTrust Questionnaire" is issued to collect analysis data. In this study, college studentsin colleges and universities in Shanghai are the research objects, by means of arandom distribution, all the questionnaires were sent to1200students, and totalrecycled1167valid questionnaires. The empirical analysis study adopts thefrequency distribution table, descriptive statistics, t-test, one-way analysis of variance,chi-square test and Pearson-γ correlation coefficient statistical methods and otherstatistical methods to analyze and discuss the collected data.After data analysis, finding that, currently the political reading of collegestudents in Shanghai does not active, the degree of political trust in general isrelatively low, it is also found that, the level of political trust from those who usenetwork are lower than those who use traditional media. But after further matrixcomparative analysis, found out not that network public opinions are the causes, butthe acceptance of college students for the media is the primary factor that affecting the level of political trust.
