Historically, individuals, businesses, society and country are inseparable from thehonesty. For individuals, honesty is a noble charisma; for enterprise, honesty is avaluable intangible asset; for society at large, honesty is the normal production andliving order; for the government integrity is the prestige of public power. Currently,China is experiencing a transition from a traditional society to a modern society.Traditional trust system is broken, and the new system has not been fully established,resulting in a social crisis of confidence in transition frequently. The ever happened"events n Chi"na, such as "Xiao Yue-Yue event,”Tige”r Zhou event waste oil"incident,”academic door of Tang Jun","Zhang Wuben" event,"Peng Yu" case inNanjing, even the doubt about Liu Xiang’s tumble in the Olympic G"ames, and killedZhou Kehua" event, are footnotes for deteriorating social trust.High school students,as the future of the motherland and the hope of the nation,take up the mission of building a moderately prosperous society and a socialistharmonious society. Honesty and trustworthiness are critical to their overalldevelopments. However, affected by social thought,some high school honestyconsciousness and dishonest behaviors happen occasionally. Therefore, theexploration and research in the implementation of high school ideological andpolitical education, concern the quality of personnel training and the overall situationof the country, which has realistic significance.This thesis consists of four parts as following;Firstly, the signiifcance of strengthening the integrity education in high schoolideological and political lesson is discussed. High school students are at a criticalperiod with the formation of ideas, attitudes and quality. Lacking of integrityeducation may lead to personality defects, deviation, and even delinquency. Therefore,it is of great importance for high school ideological and political education to enhancethe integrity quality of high school students.Secondly, the content of integrity education in high school ideological andpolitical teaching materials is discussed. The central task of high school politicalideology education is conducting systematic ideological and political education tostudents based on teaching syllabus and content. As a result, we should sufficientlyexploit the integrity sources from teaching materials, and conduct integrity educationto students through various teaching activities.Thirdly, teaching principles of integrity education in high school ideological andpolitical lesson are discussed. High school teaching in ideological and politicaleducation should adhere to the principles of good implementation of the teachers andstudents of equality, linking theory with practice, life education, and unity ofknowledge and action.Lastly,teaching methods of integrity education in high school ideological andpolitical lesson are discussed. This is the focus of this thesis, where we discuss how touse a speech before class, case teaching, discussion teaching, experiential pedagogy inideological and political teaching in high school to conduct integrity education.
