Happiness is an eternal topic, good education must be used to ensure human’s nature and enlarge students’ happiness. Happiness education submits to the true meanings of education, reflects the essence of education of human nature, establishes a correct concept of happiness and improves students’ability to feel create happiness. Thus, happiness education should be the proper meaning of education. Ideological and moral education of junior courses, as an important position in moral education should bear the responsibility to enhance the ability of happiness. Fully exploiting the political teaching curriculum resources, innovating class model and building practice platform are of great importance to enhance the ability of understanding happiness, feeling happiness and creating happiness.In this paper, the concept of happiness and happiness education is proposed firstly. On the basis of careful analysis of the various theories of happiness, the author re-examine the relationship between happiness and happiness education and point out the internal consistency of the concepts.Specifically, this paper is divided into four parts. The first part is an introduction of the background, significance of this paper, writing frameworks and research methods. The second part is the analysis of the status of happiness education. According to interpretation of related concepts of happiness and happiness education, the author describes the challenges of happiness education in high school and point out the necessity of implementing happiness education in Ideological and political education. In the third part, the author demonstrates the specific content of happiness education in Ideological and political class through facts. The last part is the focus of this article. In this part, the author proposes the paths of launching happiness education in Ideological and political class. Based on common nature of happiness education and Ideological and political education, the students can feel and acquire happiness from the relationship between others, groups, states and society. From the angle of multiple modes of teaching and assessment, the author constructs a healthy relationship between happiness education and Ideological and moral education and indicates the direction of happiness education.
