In recent years, with the rapid development of a new generation of information technology, there is growing emphasis on quality of life. Many new ideas are emerging.’Smart City’ have become worth pursuing urban construction. Under this concept extends out of the’smart education’ has become a hot research field of education. The new technology has not only changed people’s daily life, but also affects the way of education, ideas and models. How to quickly and easily improve student learning in the classroom is the starting point’smart class’teaching changes caused. Although the teaching of history is an ancient discipline, but the same trend can not be avoided. It needs to continue to explore the teaching mode to adapt to the new environment. A new life in the teaching of history combined with cutting-edge science and technology is born. And this is the subject discussed in this article.This paper is divided into four parts. The first chapter introduces the research background, research status, meaning and methods of the research. The second chapter discusses the meaning of smart history class, including the concept, rationale and the essential characteristics. The third chapter researches constructivist principles and mode of smart history class based on the analysis of secondary teaching and learning on history lessons. The fourth chapter makes ’Establishment of the British monarchy’ as an example of the smart history class based mode.
