From the vocational school teachers’ professional standards (2012.5.17discussion) to September20,2013the ministry of education promulgated the"secondary vocational school teachers’ professional standard (try out)", it can be seenSecondary vocational teachers’ professional ability construction has been on theagenda. Strengthening the teachers’ capacity building is not only necessaryrequirement of education reform and development, but also effective ways ofteachers’ professional development. It needs teachers to promote the formation ofself-development needs constantly through improving their abilities lead to socialdevelopment under the premise of realization of human "comprehensive" andsustainable development. This paper is divided into five parts:The first section: Introduction. This part introduces the basic questions such aspurpose, significance, the definition of core concept, ideas and methods and so on. Inaddition, this part clears the necessity and feasibility of this thesis and paves the wayfor the subsequent discussion.The second section: Researches at home and aboard. This part expands thecomments from two ways of teachers’ professional competence and professionaldevelopment of teachers.The third part: investigation on the current situation in secondary vocationalteachers’ professional ability. Mainly explains the research tools compilation andimplementation of the basic information of respondents and the present situation ofteacher’s professional ability.The fourth part: professional status quo, analysis of different stages of teachers’professional ability. According to the periodic characteristics of the teachers’professional development, according to the responsibility and the development ofteachers at different stages different priorities, analyzes the different stages of thebasic requirements of teachers’ professional ability and the existing deficiency, andsums up the causes of these deficiencies.The fifth part: countermeasures and Suggestions of secondary vocational teachers’ professional ability to ascend. Respectively from the macro, meso and microthree levels, to promote secondary vocational professional class teacher’s professionalability put forward feasible Suggestions and countermeasures.This paper analyses the necessary of teachers’ professional capacity building invocational under those theories of professional development and lifelong learning. Inaddition, the readers can understand the professional difficulties and developmentneeds of the teachers’ professional development at different stages, and give teacherssome ways to promote the professional development in each stage.
