College students’learning burnout has become more and more attention in recent years. It is not only related to the realization of the individual value during the period of college study, also relates to the improvement of teaching quality in universities as well as the cultivation of national talent. But learning burnout is a very big topic, this article mainly focus on the relationship between college students’learning burnout and the professional choice.Based on the Chinese and foreign document of the learning burnout, this study is divided into two parts:for one part according to the questionnaire survey for300college students among the two universities in Xi’an, it reveals the specific learning burnout performance of college students. The conclusions are as follows:i). Currently, college students present the medium level of learning burnout. Low personal accomplishment is very obvious among college students.ii). Factors such as gender, grade, professional, and the type of school will cause different influence to the students’ learning burnout. The second part is in depth to reveal the positively related professional choice and college students’ learning burnout though the six students’ structured interview. Conclusion are as follows:i). The blindness of professional choice causes the student to the lack of adequate professional interest and enthusiasm during the study;ii). Some Students in less popular majors neither seethe prospect of employment after graduation nor establish the clear career planning, which lead to the students’ burnout;iii). On professional course, Students has less time for communicate with the teacher, which resulted in low self-efficacy;iv). In general, students adopt two methods to change the learning burnout problems caused by the professional choice:the elective course learning and self-study. However, these two methods at the same time partly meet the students’ need, they also reveal their disadvantages.According to the above conclusions, this paper puts forward the following Suggestions:i)To strengthen the academic exchanges between high school and college, creating more opportunities for high school students to familiar with university professional information; ii)University can be more flexible set bounds between the specialized courses and elective courses, to give students more professional choice; iii) Strengthening the students’ career planning guidance; iv)Universities should adopt to some more diverse evaluation model; v)Internship should be paid more attention in students’study.
