Teachers are the main teaching work, the level of teachers’ teaching qualitydetermines the quality of education, teaching is the basic duty of teachers, teachingteachers are the core. Teaching evaluation is an important link of teaching activity,understand the problems existing in the teaching and students in learning problemscan be through the teaching evaluation of teachers, and timely adjustment ofteaching. Therefore, teaching evaluation plays an important role in promotingteaching. Unlike other types of colleges and universities, teaching and researchuniversity should be a teaching and research oriented university, whether the currentteaching and Research University attaches great importance to teaching, is in the useof teaching evaluation to promote the teaching, the teaching evaluation work inwhich problems need to be solved, is worthy of our study. Therefore, this paper takesLS University as a case study; provide a reference to the teaching quality of teachingand Research University promotion.The article is divided into five parts: the first part is the introduction, mainlyintroduces the teaching and research university teaching evaluation of the researchbackground and the writing significance, explain the research method and innovation.This part studies second, a summary of the relevant research related to foreignteaching evaluation first, and then reviews the domestic scholars in the relatedresearch on teaching evaluation index system, evaluation objective, evaluationsubject, evaluation methods, find related research for the teaching and researchuniversity teaching is not much. The third part is the related concept and the theory,defines the teaching research university and teaching evaluation, a brief introductionto the evaluation of the development of teaching evaluation theory and teacherprofessional evaluation theory. The fourth part investigation, first introduced thebasic situation of LS University, and teaching evaluation system of LS university tocarry on the analysis, the preparation of teaching evaluation questionnaire, and theresults of a questionnaire survey analysis, found that the teaching and researchuniversity on teaching and scientific research related to greater importance, norespect for teachers to participate in teaching evaluation index for appeal, teachingevaluation is not classified according to the subject of teaching evaluation, guidanceis not strong, the reason lies in the teaching and research university teachers of missing of the principal status, not seriously study the differences of variousdisciplines in teaching evaluation, teaching evaluation of the influence ofutilitarianism. The fifth part strategy, according to the teaching and ResearchUniversity teaching evaluation problems, think should be accurate positioning ofstudents evaluation of teaching, the implementation of program optimizationevaluation, feedback mechanism to establish the evaluation results and thedevelopment of teachers in combination, the establishment of appraisal organization,make the sub disciplines of teaching evaluation index system.
