College physical education is the last stage of school physical education, but alsoto the individual period of formation of the concept of lifelong physical education.Especially in today, college physical education should not only teach the studentssports skill, but to cultivate interpersonal skills, the students’ awareness of cooperation,the perfect personality, to really play a sport of "educating people" value. Table tennisfor quick, easy, cheap site equipment, physical requirements low, strong interest andculture and idol effect is prominent, and become the university sports popular electiveprojects. As the student population diversity changes, table tennis teaching reform hasbecome the sports teacher to explore new field.The cooperative teaching method is togroup cooperative activity as a means of teaching the basic organizational form ofteaching. The cooperative teaching method is considered to be the most important andsuccessful teaching reform in recent decades.Based on the cooperative teaching elective courses in table tennis, usingsystematic sampling, an experimental group and a control group of32subjects,through32hours of teaching experiments, combined with psychological measurementand questionnaire survey methods, effects of growth factors in many aspects such asteaching method, enhance cooperation learning interest and learning ability of basicskills students improve, maintain, habitual exercise interpersonal ability, the promotionof self-efficacy, personality, concluded that:1The cooperative teaching method has obvious effect on improving the basicskill learning achievement;2The cooperative teaching method has obvious effect on improving theenthusiasm of learning and self-learning ability;3Had positive significance to develop cooperative teaching the habit of lifelongsports; 4The cooperative teaching method has positive significance for enhancingself-efficacy;5The cooperative teaching method has positive meaning for the cultivation ofpersonality.Research innovation lies in the relationship between basic by means of teachingexperiments and questionnaire, demonstrated in the cooperative teaching method topromote students’ learning, learning interest, learning ability, to develop, to table tennispublic physical education and lifelong physical exercise habit of self-efficacy,personality cultivation of these three researchers are described, and strive to make theessence of education, teaching with sports highlight the charm of sports.
