Conventional idea suggests that exam oriented education goes against socialdevelopment needs, violate the law of development, for the purpose of the entranceexam, is the concentrated reflection of all kinds of disadvantages in education work.Its education mode and the examination method limits the students’ ability into fullplay, foster the students difficult to adapt to the needs of work and society; Andquality education is a kind of mode to improve educatees quality from the aspectssuch as the goal of education mode, it attaches great importance to the people’sideological and moral quality, ability, personality development, physical health andmental health education. now, domestic educational circles is filled with a kind ofthought, the exam-oriented education for the domestic criticism and negation, forquality-oriented education abroad blindly, enlarge its advantages, but ignore itsdisadvantages intentionally or unintentionally.From the current situation, the education concept discussion focuses on thepositive research of quality education and the investigation of the disadvantages ofexam-oriented education. In all kinds of newspapers and magazines and academicpapers, there are a lot of to boost the exam-oriented education and quality education,slams phenomenon, and lack of corresponding examples and data, and exactly what isthe actual effect of quality education is not, blindly follow suit, conformity and no andcombination of history, cultural tradition and national conditions of our country,which is detrimental to the development of education, is not conducive to the healthyeducation. So this thesis is based on this, the Chinese and foreign education mode,education idea, education present situation, the teaching effect and so on variousaspects of comparison, use the data analysis, with the facts, restore the realappearance of things.The chapter one of the paper includes that PISA international student test isintroduced and analyzed, which leads to the consideration of education concept.The chapter two analyzes the exam-oriented education and quality educationcontent, methods, characteristics, causes and status quo, in view of the widespreadobjective and comprehensive analysis, the exam-oriented education point of viewincluding pure pursuit of test scores, neglect the cultivation of student’scomprehensive ability, teachers and parents of psychology, etc. About qualityeducation point of view including quality education requirements of cultivating theability of don’t need to test, and reached the conclusion that these phenomena is not allabout because of exam-oriented education, but due to human factors, comprehensive,objective environment development factors to distinguish, to give a fair evaluation tothe exam-oriented education. The chapter three starts with the current situation of Chinese and foreign physicaleducation, introduces and analyzes the differences, and then from the Angle ofexam-oriented education and quality education and the advantages and disadvantagesof Chinese and foreign physical education are analyzed. During the practice of theaffiliated high school of Qinghai Normal University handed out questionnaires,analysis of the results strongly support that cannot simply replace exam-orientededucation with quality education point of view. The conclusions include:exam-oriented education and quality education to the cultivation of students’ ability isthe focus, entrance selection standards should be in accordance with the nationalconditions and decide, there is no perfect education concept, the various countries’choice of education mode is the historical and development, suitable for nationalconditions and social development of the actual education idea is the most appropriate,and so on.Around the exam-oriented education and quality education debate and discussionwill continue for quite a long period, because although the quality of education isgradually accepted by people, but will not be completely deny exam-orientededucation. Through the analysis of a large number of real materials, we can see thatquality education is not perfect, on the analysis of the education mode and rebelliousdon’t also tend to be more objective and rational.
