This study adopted the literature methodology,action research method,experience sum-up method,survey research method and so on.First of all,at the background of the reform of Chinese basic education has been deepened and the quality education has been put into effect in recent years,this paper concerns the hidden negative tendency and analyzes the problems oftesting oriented,the blindly pursuit for the "new",and pursuing the mode of "double color" in the middle school Chinese teaching.It shows the problem lies in the contradiction between quality education and exam-oriented education.Then,this paper will develop from three aspects: the deep thinking and analysis of exam-oriented teaching;discuss the meaning and significance of the pursuit of the quality in middle school Chinese teaching.The study shows that the quality education and exam-oriented education work together can make great power.Exam-oriented education is the foundation for quality education,at the same time,the qualified exam-oriented teaching can promote the improvement of students' language literacy.Finally,it puts forward the feasible measures to improve students' language literacy through the Chinese exam-oriented teaching: return to the original study of Chinese in the class;review and consolidate the knowledge via extension;the review before exam emphasizes organic,orderly and targeted.
