For a long time, the school sports there are short-term benefits the pursuit ofs ports teaching one-sided, lifelong physical training and lifelong education for the stu dents to ignore, ignore the extracurricular sports activities to cultivatestudents in phy sical training interest, hobby and habit, resulting in schoolbetween sports and social sports, affecting the implementation of lifelongsports. Extracurricular activities is ve ry important to the students’ physical fitness, can urge the students to develop goo d exercise consciousness,gradually formed the idea of lifelong sports. And extracurri cular sports activities are the basis for the school sports work. Despite the importan ce of extra-curricular sports activities, but there are still various problems inextracur ricular sports activities of middle school in China, and lead students to participate i n extracurricular sports activities in their spare time is affected.This research mainly adopts literature data method, questionnaire survey meth od, interview method, mathematical statistics and logical analysis, a comprehensive and objective investigation and Study on Xi’an Yanta District secondary school spo its development present situation and the existence question, and the influence fact ors were analyzed, the results are summarized as follows:(1) Xi’an Yanta District middle school students in extracurricular sports activities i n knowledge and attitude in general is still relatively optimistic, but there is a bigd ifference between girls and boys.(2) Yanta District Xi’an in middle school students to participate in extracurricular sp orts activities are mainly concentrated in the3-4frequency, more concentrated time in30min-60min this range; in the exercise above, most of thesmall and medium int ensity activities. But there are obvious differences between male and female student s. The boys than girls, their participation in activities,more time should grow, strengt h to.(3) Yanta District, Xi’an enthusiasm of students to participate in extracurricular sport s activities is very high, the extracurricular sports activities showed highenthusias m. Most students want by sports activities to physical fitness, alleviate the pressure of study, body weight and the strengthening of social intercourse,which are condu cive to mental and physical development of middle school students. (4) The Yanta District Xi’an City middle school students to participate in the extrac urricular sports venues mainly in school sports and school leisure place; in the way o f extracurricular sports activities in the selection is mainly with thestudents to joi n or individual prefer sports.(5) Project to participate in extracurricular sports activities of middle school student s in Xi’an City, Yanta District, most of the site and equipmentrequirements is not ve ry high, and the technology is simple and easy to learn,easy action project, namel y, basketball, running, badminton, table tennis.(6) Factors affecting the extracurricular sports activities of middle school studentsto carry out the Yanta District, Xi’an were lack of facilities, lack of teachers,learning t ension, lack of organization and guidance method, lack of interest, lack of partners.The author accord to the above conclusions, some good advice, helps tocarry o ut the Yanta District middle school extracurricular sports activities,(l)the school should attach importance to extracurricular sports activities,only the s chool seriously, will give students the conditions for creative activities, and to stren gthen the management, conscientiously implement the"health first" education, trainin g students’ direction, stimulate students’interestin sports, so that students can develop a good habit of exercise, relievepressure, physical fitness.(2) physical education teaching evaluation breakthrough the traditional mode of extra curricular sports activities, the assessment included, that can motivate students to act ively take the initiative to participate in extracurricular sports activities and intangib le, so as to make the girl in the after-schoolexercise this piece to increase participat ion, arouse their interest in sports,improve the body quality.(3) Respect the student’s personality characteristics and needs, develop a unique ext racurricular sports activities, according to different students,different personality an d different preferences and good, let the students to choose. In addition, to promote the reform of school physical education curriculum, the students usually contact les s project and traditional project, to be included in the sports teaching content, technol ogy extension students.(4) to strengthen the campus sports cultural propaganda, knowledge about sports an d sports health promotion through various publicity media. Focus on the construction of campus sports atmosphere, enhance the students’ sports consciousness, to cultivat e students’ lifelong physical education as the main work. (5) the school should pay great attention to the extracurricular sports activities are carried out smoothly to provide hardware and software support, from the hardware point of view, the construction of school should pay attention to all kinds of sports venues and equipment and purchasing, to provide campaignfunds support, also can be the name of the school to make full use of externalconditions, to meet the nee ds of the students sports activities of the rich,diverse requirements. More teachers an d teachers’ professional quality, to arrange for PE teachers to guide students’ physica1exercise in their spare time.(6) In addition to the extracurricular sports activities to strengthen management, esta blish a unified system of complete. The school sportsmanagement personnel to parti cipate in the management, the school gradeclass teacher, leader, should actively coo perate with, mainly responsible for the implementation of physical education teache rs. To use the time for extra-curricular activities hold some sports games in the cla ssroom, the school,within the region, so that more students involved.(7) In the extra-curricular sports activities of the organization, can make use ofsom e foreign good form. For example, the extracurricular sports schools in Japan by th e student organizations (Sports) organization, almost all the students take part in th e folk organizations, sports association under thesports clubs of up to more than40, more detailed plans of various clubs every semester, and put into practice.
