Through nearly30years of efforts, golf club has about500since the firstchinese golf club was established in1984. Led to the development of golfmanufacturing, golf tourism, golf tourism exhibition industry, golf real estate industryetc. We have a great gap compared to golf industry developed country, as American,South Korea. Golf is to join into the2020Olympic Games. This is an advantage ofthe development of our country golf club. Along with the improving and perfecting ofthe policy on all aspects, golf industry is becoming more and more attention by themarket and the government.To get more long-term development, We must find out the core competitivenessof the golf club, competitive advantage, change the wrong views of golf, more andmore golf experience close to public.Using Potter’s "Diamond Model", the author analyzed further and specific to thecompetitiveness from the six aspects of the factors of production, social demand,related supporting industries, strategy and competition, opportunity and governmentetc. The core competitiveness is composed of factors, operation mode, resourceintegration, marketing, service and organization, the disicive factor is operation mode.Finally this paper makes empirical analysis using data from the surveyquestionnaire on the core competitiveness of the golf club to verify the view. Thefinal data through SPSS20.0analysis. The results fully proved the point of view. Theauthor discovered the core competitiveness of Chinese golf club general deficiency ininvestigation. Many problems are gradually improved, this research put forward thecountermeasure to enhance the core competitiveness of the golf club.
