As the market economy reform gradually prone to maturity,competition which is a essential characteristic of a market economy becomes the most important element for entities.On the other hand,it’s also a competitive entity’s competitiveness.Core competitiveness is advanced stage of general competitiveness promoted by upgrading through theory and practice.The main goal of athletic sports is to achieve social,economic, competitive value.The diversity of principle part and limitation of resources is decisive for its existence and intensity.It is the essential requirement to introduce the concept of core competitiveness intocompetitive sports field.We have done both theoretical and practical study about core competitiveness and issues concerned of Professional Volleyball Club, the main conclusions are as follows:1.The definition of the core competitiveness of the professional volleyball club is:A unique overall power and integrated quality of a resource and knowledge capacity-based professional volleyball club.With this power and quality,a vocational volleyball club is then in a position to continually provide competing volleyball products and services to its target consumers more effectively than other vocational volleyball clubs in a marketplace.The obtaining of that unique power or quality is a perpetually renewing and developing process which is adapted to both the inner organizational structure and the outer environment of the vocational volleyball club.The club’s core competitiveness comes from many individual activities proceeded in the processes of the club’s organization,management,training or competing,brand establishment, products and services of competing volleyball as well as supplementary processes.It is mainly determined by resources,social needs,relevant supports,club’s strategic structure and the competing scenario of the competing volleyball’s system. 2.The core competitiveness of our nation’s professional volleyball club is consisted of four elements,namely and respectively,resources, organization,strategy and competing.The various kinds of combinations of all the elements or multi-variation created different levels and styles of the core competitiveness’ styles of performance.The way of combination is influenced by the club’s overall effectiveness while at the same time has a command over the realization of comprehensive effectiveness.The development of the core competitiveness has a nonlinear characteristic.The integration management of the functional elements of the club’s core competitiveness has a strong connection with the weakpoint and edge of club’s competitive advantage and the realization of the sustainable development.3.Core competitiveness evaluation index system of the Professional Volleyball Club consists of three levels,respectively,Goal Level, Element Level and Index Level.The index level can be divided into three-tier hierarchical models.The first model,which is also called hierarchical target,compounds 6 abilities in governing,managing, composite competing,cultrual learning,operating as well as policy and environment.The index system is a renewing and open system.The unceasing development of both competing sports and market economy will impose new influencing elements on the organizational operation of the club.The indexing trend of influencing elements continually enrich the content and scope of the evaluation for the club’s core competitiveness.4.The overall evaluation for the core competitiveness of the Professional Volleyball Club has an obvious procedural feature.Using compounding methods of analytic hierarchy process(AHP)and fuzzy comprehensive evaluating respectively to determine both weighing and grading.For analyzing the developmental situation,adopt relative standard assessment to compare the developmental situations of core competitiveness from different clubs during the same period of time.5.The core competitiveness of professional volleyball club is the result of the developmental transition from the independent integration to the overall integration in the club’s every aspect.It is linked by the knowledge competitiveness owned by the club.Its nurturing and enhancing is revealed by the behaving path based on dynamic evolution mechanism of knowledge.The key to nurturing including competing, innovating,human resources and knowledge element.The promoting strategy of the club’s core competitiveness shall be based on the compounding elements.The integration of functions should be outstanding.
