ISO26000is an international standard which is established by internationalstandardization organization (ISO) to provide an guidance for the organization ofSocial responsibility activities. This standard including a standard scope, terms anddefinitions, the understanding of social responsibility, principles and core themes ofsocial responsibility, It provides a social responsibility guideline to the group whichare willing to apply ISO26000, so as to maximize the organization’s contribution tothe sustainable development.Current social structure increasingly diversified and complicated, teacher’shumanistic spirit are unprecedented impact, some teachers’ thought, behaviors runcounter to the basic moral principle. They are lack of social responsibility seriously intheir work. The lack of social responsibility will affect the quality of teaching andschool ethos, even destroy the living conditions and learning environment of thestudents. The first reason of teachers’ lack of social responsibility is that the fuzzyconcept and content of its own social responsibility, and now the research of theteachers’ sense of social responsibility is almost stay at the macro level, which couldfound the problem but can’t give the feasible standard or scheme. Compared to similarschools, the low-performing schools are with low economy, funds shortage, lack ofteaching equipment. The education concept is relatively backward, the managementlevel of school is low, the teachers level is insufficient, and the quality of students’ ispoorer. These problems determine the teachers of the low-performing schools havemore problems in teaching and the extracurricular life which need more importantsocial responsibility. To identify the teachers’ social responsibility, and find theproblems in teachers social responsibility at present situation of the school, the authorconsidered a low-performing middle school in yunnan for example, through listeningin-class,observation, interview, record and do questionnaire survey, find out theproblems in teachers social responsibility in the low-performing school, and try tointroduce ISO26000international social responsibility standard, to make sure to putforward the strategy to solve the problems of teachers’ social responsibility concept,content in the low-performing school.The whole article consists of five parts: the first part is introduction, to introducethe research background, reason, significance, the literature review, and clear and definite the research method; The second part is about the summary of relevanttheories, summaries the concept of the papers. To interpretation for teachers’ socialresponsibility based on the ISO26000; The third part discovered some currentproblems of social responsibility the of teachers in low-performing middle school inyunnan by social responsibility investigation, The fourth part is a narrative andresearch corresponding interpretation about teachers’ social responsibility of thelow-performing schools in yunnan The fifth part is research how to improve teachers’social responsibility, Based on the relative principles and measures of ISO26000,put forward specific countermeasures and Suggestions to improve teachers socialresponsibility of the low-performing school.All in all, this article is based on ISO26000, through the investigation of teacherssocial responsibility in the low-performing school, tries to analyze the concept andcontent of teachers social responsibility in the low-performing school and put forwardspecific countermeasures and Suggestions hoping to provide suggestion and referencein terms of social responsibility to more low-performing schools.
